Designed and hand-blown by Ana Zuanic in Palos Verdes, CA. This small vessel is 8" in diameter and 4.5" high. It's interior is a solid cobalt blue, in contrast to swirling and interacting turquoise, white and translucent dark blue glass on the exterior. The play of the cool colors is reminiscent of ocean waves. In the light, the surface of the glass almost looks metallic. It is a shallow bowl, with the lip similar in diameter to the base.
Staring with molten glass heated at 2100F, all pieces are hand blown and shaped in a hot shop using traditional glassblowing tools.
We have not yet calculated shipping costs for glass blowing items. If you are interested in purchasing a piece, please contact me about it here and we’ll figure out the best price for you based on your location. Each piece is relatively heavy and needs to be packaged in a large box with plenty of packing peanuts or bubblewrap to protect it on its journey home.
